Vitruvian Triathlon Compulsory checks
Compulsory Wetsuit checks
All wetsuits will be subject to our biosecurity checks pre event (please see table below).
Everyone will be required to dunk the wetsuit in our barrels at the transitions exit after the event.
Why compulsory after the event? To stop the spread of any non native species into other waterways and environments.
Compulsory helmet checks
ANSI 290.4, SNELL B90, EN1078 or equivalent national standard.
You must wear your helmet as you enter transition. We will check your chin strap and general sizing.
Please make sure that your helmet complies to BTF helmet rules and is adequately certified for use in this event before you attend. We reserve the right to refuse your entry in this event should you not provide a suitable helmet to use during the event.
Compulsory bike checks
We will check your bike for general roadworthiness before they can be racked in transition.
There will be a compulsory brake test when you enter transition.
No mountain bikes allowed in this race. Time Trial and Road bikes only.
BTF Licence checks
Check your BTF licence is valid - without showing a valid licence you will have to purchase a race day licence for £6 in order to race. There will be no exceptions. If you cannot show your licence you will have to purchase one before being allowed to race.
