Pre Race mechanical support
Rutland cycling is our bike event partner. They have a fantastic workshop and a highly skilled team to deal with all your pre race requirements. If you're in Rutland pre race and need some support, pop in and see them. They'll be happy to help.
Their workshop is in the opposite car park to transition.
Race day transition mechanical support
A mechanic from Rutland cycling will be present in transition on the morning of the race. They can help with any last minute tinkering or help with any pre race mechanical melt downs. We suggest a full service before reaching transition but we appreciate a fully functioning bike can suddenly implode as you're about to go racing! The team will do whatever they can to help you but resources and time will be limited. They will be raising money for their chosen charities and have an optional donation tub for any support given. Please pop as much as you can and support them as they support you.
Race mechanical support
Bike mechanics will be roaming the course. You should carry kit for basic repairs yourself. We will not be fixing punctures for you!
For more serious mechanical issues please make your way to a checkpoint where they can radio for assistance. If you're stranded please flag us down and we will find the closest safe place to pull over. The team will carry limited spares and we will have a vehicle to get you home if it's a little more than a roadside repair.
Little tweaks to help out are on us! Any serious mechanical work is at your own expense. All spares and parts must be paid for.
